2nd Annual Cookbook Discussion

Join us for the Food Temptress Cookbook Store's 2nd annual, virtual book club discussion moderated by owner Rekaya Gibson. This year's pick is "Africali: Recipes from My Jikoni" by Kiano Moju. She infuses African cuisine with Californian culture to create delicious meals. In 2024, the cookbook was named Best Cookbook of Summer by Forbes and Food & Wine.

How the cookbook club works:
1. Register for Zoom discussion at link above.
2. Buy the cookbook from our store here - https://bookshop.org/a/9772/9781668002131
3. Read the book and select a recipe or two.
4. Post your recipe selection under the event discussion tab on Facebook.
5. Prepare the dish prior to or day of discussion.
6. Take a picture and post it under the event discussion tab on Facebook.
7. Attend the Zoom discussion on October 12.
8. Post image of food on social media, using the hashtag #FTCookbookClub
